Milk of the Poppy’s name draws inspiration from the medieval remedy “milk of the poppy,” which is a specialty concocted beverage known for both its medicinal properties and the remarkable “poppy dreams” it induces. Here, guests are invited to discover and manifest their own experiences.
Driven by our team’s passion for history, Milk of the Poppy’s menu was designed to transport guests through time, and our cocktail menu draws reference from the medieval era to present day, incorporating ancient techniques, flavors and ingredients to create something truly special that’s reflective of Milk of the Poppy’s vision and historical references while embracing Santa Fe’s rich culture and culinary tradition.
Adjacent to the Jean Cocteau Cinema and Beastly Books, our immersive concept expands upon the district’s existing multi-dimensional modes of storytelling and serves as an additional community gathering place.
