Nestled in the charm and elegance of one of Santa Fe’s most beloved historical homes, Santacafé has been a restaurant icon for over 40 years. It was bought in 2019 by Santa Fe restaurateur Quinn Stephenson—the driving force behind another Santa Fe legend, Coyote Café. 

Santacafé is designed to reflect Santa Fe's traditions, while infusing contemporary flavors, local ingredients and modern tastes. It combines the traditions of modern American cooking with exquisitely locally sourced ingredients. 

Since 2019, Dale Kester has been Executive Chef, completing a culinary journey that began at Joseph’s Table in Taos, NM, under the mentorship of Chef Joseph Wrede. He further honed his craft at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, the esteemed Hyatt Regency and Houston Country Club, in several kitchens across New Mexico, and at the acclaimed 2 Michelin Starred Restaurant Daniel, where he worked for three formative years.
